Rivers and oceans inspire my work. It refers to water giving us pleasure as well as connections. Old civilizations built ports by the rivers to connect one city with another. Rivers allowed commerce and connections between communities

The Bay Flags installation at the Veterans Memorial in Bay Ridge symbolizes the waters as our true nation. Twelve flags line the entrance to the Narrows, each featuring waves that celebrate the waters' vitality and significance.
